What is Homeopathy?
well trusted that
300 million patients
in more than
80 nations use it."

The principles of homeopathy have been used for centuries and go back to Hippocrates. It is a scientific heath treatment based on the principle of "like cures like". That is, if a substance can cause symptoms of a disease in a healthy person, then it can cure a sick person suffering with similar symptoms.
Homeopathy is specific for the whole of each individual. All of your specific and unique symptoms, physical and emotional are taken into account by the trained homeopath. It's about the mind-body connection. The patient is treated, not the disease(s).
It might be easiest to understand homeopathy by comparing it to conventional medicine. In conventional medicine, each disease is treated the same way for everyone, and each disease is treated by itself. For example, if you were to have a rash you may be prescribed a salve. If you then complained of stomach problems you could be prescribed an antacid. The salve and the antacid are likely prescribed for millions of people. In addition, your rash and your stomach problems would not be considered together as part of your unique self.
With homeopathy, both symptoms of having a rash and stomach issues would be considered along with other factors that combine to make you a unique individual. The relationship between the rash and the stomach problems is the patient! Your remedy, and its dose, will be determined specifically and only for you.
Homeopathy regards symptoms as the body’s healthy attempt to restore itself to balance. A homeopath will choose a remedy that is similar to your symptoms rather than by opposing or suppressing them as in conventional medicine. Further, homeopathy uses the least amount of remedy necessary to cure.
Homeopathic treatments are aimed at strengthening constitution and vitality and are not medical treatments. They are not directed at identifying, treating, or preventing specific diseases. Practitioners are prohibited by law from diagnosing or treating disease.

What is the Homeopathic process?
is that it is true,
whether or not
you believe in it."
Homeopaths believe everything in the body is inter-connected - all symptoms are related. All treatments are specific for you as an individual. In order for your homeopath to prescribe the correct remedy she needs a detailed verbal accounting of all your symptoms, medications, a description of your mental and emotional state, as well as some history.
Thus, your first visit is scheduled for two hours. After that, depending on how your particular remedy works for you, your appointments could be as short as 15 minutes and months apart! Typically, as time goes on and you continue to respond to your remedy, the less often you will need to see Beth.
Your specific needs are always Beth's top priority. If you, or your family member, should develop a new health issue at any time in the future you are encouraged to contact Beth.
